Aquarium Growing?

I heard a while back that you can grow good buds in a regular aquarium (like a 10 gallon fish tank). My search for this topic on the net has yielded few results, but since you can get flourescent bulb aquarium hoods this seems to me like it would be totally possible. Does anyone have instructions or tips for me?? And also, I was wondering if there was such a think as a battery operated flourescent bulb top to an aquarium, so I can avoid detection by those dreaded parental units. =)
Any help would be super cool!!
